Geode Herbal Tea

 

Geode Herbal Tea targets those who suffer stress and anxiety on a regular basis. Just as the gems Jade, Amethyst, and Azurite have the ability to flourish negative energies and calm the mind so does Geode’s Green, Lavender, and Mint tea.

 

Geode Herbal Tea started out as a concept. I wanted to focus on those who suffer with anxiety and give them a tea that would help them out throughout their day to day routine. I started listing teas that linked to stress and anxiety and then thought of objects that also link to my words as well. Gemstones came into view as they are also beneficial in healing the mind and soul. From there I listed gemstones, their benefits, and started linking those to the teas. Jade, Amethyst, and Azurite were the three stones that I felt were the strongest for my tea brand.

CONSTRUCTION:
The idea for the structure of the capsules for the tea bags as well as the overall container for the capsules came from the definition of a geode. A geode is a small cavity in a rock that is lined with crystals and other mineral matter. I wanted the overall container to support the definition so I sketched out a few different shapes that I thought would represent a geode. The individual capsules represented singular crystals that would then fill the geode container and form a variety pack of tea. The variety pack allows the target audience to choose their tea depending upon their mood.
